Projects and saving
A project is a folder
Section titled “A project is a folder”File > New project… makes a folder with the project file and everything it uses:
Directorymy_apartment/
- my_apartment.ieproj the project itself
DirectoryAssets/
DirectoryMaterials/ one file per material
- …
DirectoryTextures/ images you imported
- …
DirectoryModels/ props copied from the game, your own models, window prefabs
- …
DirectoryTrims/ custom trim profiles (.ietrim)
- …
DirectoryBackups/ automatic backups
- …
DirectoryExport/
- …
Because everything the project uses is inside the folder, you can zip it up, move it to another PC or send it to someone else.
